St Pius X

Mrs. Carol Alexander
Has been teaching Preschool with the Toledo Catholic Diocese since August of 1998.  The last 14 years have been at St. Pius.  She started this program in 2004 and brought it to St. Pius in 2006.  "I went into Early Childhood Education because I love working with children, especially young children.  I want to make a difference in my students lives and give them a solid educational foundation".  
I grew up in Toledo Ohio with 7 brothers and sisters and attended Blessed Sacrament grade school and Central Catholic High School and went on to college to study Early Childhood Education.  My husband, Steve and I have been married for 32 years and we have two sons, Corey, who is 30 and Kevin, who is 28.  I feel blessed to have a job that   I love going to everyday!  Thank you for allowing me to be your child's teacher.  
Mrs. Kelly Lajiness:

Mrs. Kelly Lajiness has been with the Preschool program as an assistant since 2012. She recently obtained her teaching license and will be co-teaching with me.  I am so excited to have Kelly as a co-teacher.
She is a very caring, creative and a wonderful person.  Kelly has been a parishioner at St. Pius for many years and she has two children that attended St. Pius X School, Alexa and Cooper.  

Mrs. Jen Bee:  

Mrs. Jen Bee has been the Preschool assistant since it started in 2006.   She is patient, caring and creative.  She enjoys working with children and I am thrilled to have her on staff.   Mrs. Bee is a parishioner at St. Pius X and her two sons, Zach and Ryan graduated from St. Pius.  They both currently attend St. Francis High School.
Mrs. Beth Gmitter:
Mrs. Beth Gmitter has been an assistant with our Preschool program for the past three years.  We are lucky to have such a caring, understanding and all around wonderful person on staff.  Beth and her husband, Scott, have two children, Grant and Gretchen, that have been educated through the Toledo Catholic Diocese.
Miss Natalie Krell:
Natalie Krell, who is our Preschool Extended Day Coordinator, has been with us for the past 4 years.  She is also currently a student at Lourdes University, studying early childhood education.  Natalie is responsible, caring and patient.  Besides being the EDP coordinator, she fills in when needed in the preschool classroom.   Natalie attended Blessed Sacrament grade school and graduated from St. Katari Catholic High School in Oregon Ohio.
